Site survey

We walk the property with you — noting grade, sun exposure, existing plantings, and any drainage concerns. 45–60 minutes. No cost.

Plan & quote

You receive a scaled plan, plant schedule, material samples, and a fixed-price estimate within five business days.

Installation

A dedicated foreman runs the job start to finish. Daily updates, clean site every evening, one number to call for anything.

Ongoing care

Optional maintenance contracts cover mowing, pruning, irrigation checks, and seasonal color. Cancel any time — 30 days' notice.

How much does a typical landscape project cost?
It depends enormously on scope. A planting-bed refresh runs $4,000–$12,000. A full-yard design-and-build — including hardscape, irrigation, planting, and lighting — typically lands between $35,000 and $120,000. Commercial grounds contracts are priced per square foot per month. After the free site survey we come back with a fixed number, not a range.
How long does a project take from survey to completion?
Site survey to signed contract is usually two to three weeks. Installation itself depends on scope: a planting and irrigation refresh takes 3–5 days, a full-property build with hardscape and pool surround takes 10–16 weeks. We give you a week-by-week schedule with the contract so you're never guessing.
Do you work with native plants?
Almost exclusively. Our palette skews native and adapted to the Texas Hill Country — Big Muhly, Texas Sage, Mexican Buckeye, Eve's Necklace, live oak, agave, and sotol. These plants are correct for the place, which means they settle in faster, ask for less water, and look like they've always been there. We do use some non-native material where it earns its keep.
Do you install sprinkler systems or only landscape?
Both. Irrigation is one of our six core disciplines — drip zones, spray systems, smart controllers, backflow prevention, permits, and all. We handle the design, install, and ongoing seasonal audits in-house. We also repair and retrofit systems we didn't install.
What does the two-year workmanship warranty cover?
Every installation we do is covered for two full years against defects in workmanship — settling pavers, failing retaining walls, plant materials that don't survive the establishment period, irrigation leaks traced to install. If something fails within the window, we come back and make it right at no charge. The warranty doesn't cover damage from vehicles, animals, or acts of God.
Do you offer financing?
We work with two Central Texas lenders on unsecured home-improvement financing for projects over $15,000, typically 6–12 year terms with rates in the 6–9% range for qualified applicants. We also accept credit cards, ACH, and checks. Deposits are typically 25% at contract signing with progress payments tied to milestones.
Can I add services later, or do I need to contract everything at once?
Absolutely you can add later. Plenty of clients start with a design, do the install the following spring, and add hardscape a year after that. We keep the master plan on file and pick up wherever you left off. There's no advantage to bundling unless you want one mobilization and one schedule — which some clients do.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Verdant Edge Landscaping LLC holds Texas Department of Licensing #48210, carries $2M general liability and full workers' compensation coverage for every crew member, and is bonded. We'll send certificates of insurance to any client or HOA on request.
